The photographer has properly considered differential focus, perhaps by aperture selection, to hold a well lit subject against a soft background but sharpness has been lost on key parts of the blossom which I feel the image needed. Perhaps a look in camera live view would have helped to know where the focus point was and enabled adjustment for another shot. A tighter crop, perhaps in square format would have placed the sub

Nice shallow depth of field highlights the flower in focus. I agree with Trevor though... I think a square crop showing less of the background might help with impact.

Blue is a recessive colour, and always difficult to make the principle subject. The nearest flower is the least sharp. Perhaps by slightly lowering the viewpoint more of the flowers would be in focus, with less of the green background.
