What you've captured here is one of the major appeals of the West Pier. The softness of the sea contrasting sharply with the stark metal of the ruin. There are a couple of technical faults. The horizon isn't level, easily fixed, and the sky is white. A graduated filter perhaps?

This shot has a lovely feel about it, I like the blown out sky and pale hues contrasting with the black of the structure.
