I really like the dreamy, ethereal quality of this image. For me the focal point - the flowers in focus - is too small an area, maybe cropping in a bit further may help. Otherwise, it's a good use of aperture to create the blurry background and foreground.

This photographer has made deliberate use of aspect, complementary palette and depth of field control. The in-focus bluebell (the focal point) is compositionally unconventional and while the eye is easily led there the dominance of the large blue out of focus area competes for our attention. Much to commend here, and I feel I am looking at a photographic interpretation of an impressionistic painting. A good idea, worthy of
