Hi Richard, I think this is my favourite of your shots, I really like the dramatic composition and colour seem to work nicely together. I would like to see it without the brickwork in the foreground because I think that distracts from the beautiful shape that the pier forms.

The long exposure needed to 'soften' the sea to a milky sheen usually works best with something sharp to set it off, as here. The colours are soft and contrast with the dark of the pier underside. I wondered about a little more detail in the sky, but I don't think it needs it.
