Linlithgow Camera Club is a small, photography hobby club based in Linlithgow, West Lothian and currently has around a dozen regular members of varying interests and abilities. The Club meets on a Tuesday evening in the Springfield Community Wing, Linlithgow, West Lothian. Members' interests vary from landscape to sports and still life to city life. And all points betwixt and between... To encourage expansion in abilities and ideas, the Club runs informal, monthly competitions. These are then 'judged' by Club members. Despite the competition 'vibe', the Club meets under a fairly relaxed atmosphere, with all members - who are willing and/or able - welcome to give advice and assistance to all. The Club also maintains links with some other local camera clubs by the means of, currently, two annual, inter-club competitions which are lent an air of formality by being externally judged, but these, again, are fairly relaxed affairs.
