Our evenings are all about photography and community, we're all good friends and enjoy a good laugh as well as improving our photographic capabilities. The club presents evenings that include presentations of images from both professional and amateur photographers alike, these usually have a theme and can be quite entertaining. We also run workshops on studio lighting, model posing ( using real models!) macro photography, digital manipulation of images. We hold monthly competitions of work submitted by our members, judged by members of the MCPF and other organisations All the results go onto a league table and awards given at the annual general meeting every March / April. We also arrange field trips every so often to give members the opportunity to put their skills to the test and we have even persuaded the odd model to join us for a bit of extra photographic opportunity.
