Newark & District Photographic Society has existed to promote and provide support for Amateur Photography in and around Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England since 1938. The objective of the Society is the advancement of the art and practice of photography through the enhancement of the knowledge and skills of the members. Most of the Society's activities take place on Monday evenings between 7.30pm and 10.00pm and are open to both members, prospective members, and non-members interested in a single event.
