Ordnance Survey Photographic Society is a friendly group of people who meet weekly, on Tuesdays, at the offices of the Ordnance Survey in Southampton, for the purpose of pursuing their interests in photography. We have a varied programme of talks, competitions and workshops for all levels of ability. Our meetings run from September to early May, with a break in the summer. During this break we have social events such as lunches and local walks, and a summer photography challenge. Our meetings are held in the comfortable surroundings of the offices of the Ordnance Survey, after whom we are named (and have been since the 1950s). We are inclusive of all types of photography from film to the most up to date digital imaging. This Facebook group has been created to allow members to see what others are doing, put forward discussion points and ask questions of other members. It also allows visitors and potential society members to see details of our programme.
