We are a friendly group of photographers of all ages and aim to offer something for everyone. So, whether you’re a complete novice or have loads of experience in all things photographic, you will be made very welcome. The Society provides an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers at all levels of experience and with interests in all types of photographic imagery. We offer a means for members to share ideas and knowledge with each other, and promote an interest in photography in the community through exhibitions and public events. At our weekly meetings we host speakers with diverse perspectives and skills in photography and encourage the sharing and critiquing of members' work. We also hold regular digital workshops where our members can develop their skills in using a computer to manage and make the most of digital images.
