We are a friendly and informal group who meet together to socialise, enjoy photography, share ideas, and help each other with techniques and tips. We hold internal competitions to promote friendly rivalry and to challenge ourselves to improve our standards in taking images. The competitions are judged by outside judges to give us an external benchmark.We also run workshops on techniques and hold presentations by internal and external speakers. Field trips for landscape and wildlife photography are held at times throughout the year. The meetings are relaxed and friendly and visitors are always welcome to attend any meeting which interests them. Activities range from illustrated talks given by visiting speakers, workshops to learn photographic techniques and photographic exhibitions and competitions by the club members; there are also interclub competitions.
